Derrymore Location Instructions
Directions from Dublin Airport
Directions to Glendalough Via the M50 Dublin Ring Road Motorway.
- Having accessed the M50 from any point around Dublin including the airport, take the southerly direction and follow it to its end where it meets the M11 and then the N11.
- On the N11 at 2 large filling stations, either side of the road, by Kilmacanogue follow the sign directing you left, off the N11, over the fly-over bridge and left at the small round-about (to Roundwood & Glendalough).
- You are now about 35 minutes away from Glendalough. Stay on this windy road and after twenty minutes you will drive through the village of Roundwood then five minutes later through the small community of Annamoe and a further five minutes will see you in the crossroads village of Laragh. Bear left over the bridge and then right to Glendalough.
- A few minutes later you will drive past the Glendalough Hotel, over a small hump-backed bridge and along the one (cul-de-sac) road (Lake Road) into the valley of Glendalough.
- The Lower Lake is on the left and Derrymore House is one kilometre from the bridge, on the right hand side (up a steep entrance to the house which overlooks the lake).
